Faurot Construction has built three ink! Coffee Shops through the years, each space with its own unique conditions and challenges. Each store had a very specific feel and décor that required custom work at every turn. From millwork to custom angled walls we take pride in the details. We further fully appreciate the importance of speed to market. Faurot Construction excels in the fast paced restaurant markets.

In the spring of 2009 Faurot Construction partnered with Vic’s Coffee of Boulder to open two new locations despite a struggling economy. The first in Longmont CO featured a three-sided fireplace and custom millwork. The second more extensive store in Boulder CO was built in a building previously occupied by McDonalds ™. The Boulder project also involved a completely new façade and site work to revitalize the once blighted building into a vibrant, new neighborhood cornerstone.

When the ownership of this coffee shop changed hands Faurot Construction was brought in to give the space a new look and feel. The Owner of the Tavern next door also wanted to use the coffee shop after hours as overflow from the bar on busy nights as well as serve as an additional space to offer different entertainment. This remodel included complete demolition of all millwork and finishes, new knotty alder doors, trim and cabinets with custom granite counter tops, as well as a custom pocket door with stone trim to access the bar.
